• By using Cared For Canines services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms outlined in our policies. All clients must complete and sign the appropriate Intake Form, Liability Waiver, and Vaccination Confirmation prior to service. Failure to adhere to these policies may result in the refusal of services.

• To ensure the safety and health of all dogs in our care, we require the following vaccinations:

• Required Core Vaccines

• Rabies

• Distemper, Adenovirus, Parvovirus (DA2P or DHPP)

• Bordetella (Kennel Cough)

• ​

• Recommended Vaccines (based on risk)

• Leptospirosis

• Canine Influenza (CIV)

• Lyme Disease

• We ask that all dogs have up-to-date vaccinations, and proof of vaccination from a licensed veterinarian must be provided before beginning any services. If your dog is unable to receive any required vaccinations due to medical reasons, please provide a letter from your veterinarian for consideration.

Bookings: All bookings should be made at least 48 hours in advance. We recommend scheduling early, as our services can fill up quickly.

Cancellations: If you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us at least 24 hours before the scheduled service. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment may incur a 50% cancellation fee.

Late Arrival: For pet sitting and transport services, please ensure timely drop-off and pick-up. If you are late, additional fees may apply for extended care.

Payment Methods: We accept payments such as cash, credit/debit cards, and Venmo.

Deposits: A 50% deposit is required for certain services, such as overnight pet sitting or field trips, to secure your booking.

Full Payment: Full payment for services is due at the time of service or within 24 hours after service completion.

Late Payments: A late fee of $10 per day will be applied to any outstanding balance beyond 7 days.

• Liability: Cared For Canines is not responsible for any injury, illness, or loss that occurs during services.

• Vet Care: In the event of an emergency, we will contact your designated veterinarian or an emergency clinic immediately. If we cannot reach you or your vet, we reserve the right to make decisions in the best interest of your dog’s health and well-being.

• To acknowledge this policy, please complete and sign our Liability Waiver form before booking.

• We strive to provide the best care for your dog, and understanding your pet’s unique needs is essential. Please ensure the following:

• Behavioral Concerns: If your dog has any behavioral issues (e.g., aggression, fear of strangers, separation anxiety), please inform us before services begin. We use positive reinforcement, but we may not be equipped to handle extreme behavioral issues.

• Special Needs: If your dog requires special care (e.g., medications, mobility assistance), please notify us ahead of time so we can accommodate their needs.

• Health Restrictions: Please inform us if your dog has any health conditions or limitations that require extra attention.

While we may not hold official Fear Free certifications, we adhere to Fear Free guidelines, ensuring all care is gentle, positive, and stress-free. Our team uses humane training and handling methods that promote your dog’s emotional well-being.
